So what needs to be redistributed in a society like Britain is not just we'll give you consumption because you're bloody useless at producing anything. We've not yet talked about a really powerful new concept - Michael Sandel's concept of contributive justice. And that supplants and supersedes the Rawlsian concept of distributive justice.
