In the US, we can kind of be a little bit too transactional where we're tying our time to dollars in a way which can be problematic if we don't consider the culture. If you have that cultural intelligence and you're familiar with how time is a little bit more flexible, then you can say, okay, if somebody's late, it's not personally offensive to me. But if you come in with that, just the western mindset being extremely efficient, then you take offense. And these are just a couple of examples. I mean, there are tons of examples that come to mind which I have presented in my book as well as in my articles."
