Nominating a Supreme Court Justice Is a Super Congress
The Supreme Court has been treated as a super Congress, he says. The question should be "Can you read the constitution," not "How's this person going to vote on my particular topic?" He adds: You see certain justices who occupy the ideological far points and a number of them received nearly unanimous decisions by the Senate.
