Throw Away the Yeast and Be Who You Really Are

The fermenting action of yeast illustrates the corrupting power of sin. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians chapter five, verse six through eight, your boasting is not good. For Christ, our Passover lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us keep the festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
