What's the Worst Thing That Can Happen to You?
The yield has been rising sharply since early december 20 21, but the tenure has not risen tat sharply. A flattening of the curve generally means that the market is expecting less economic activity or less inflation going forward. So it's the fed is getting hawkish, and they're assuming that as the fed raises rates, that that will snuff off growth end or inflation, and cause economy to roll back over.
