The Importance of Teaching Children to Be Independent
The goal isn't just to finish this book, the goal is that someday they will leave our home and always be learning. There's a certain element of impatience a lot of times, right? They don't learn fast enough for us. But we have to always keep the end goal, you know, we want them to be independent. And so if they can't do things for themselves, then how are they going to be able to serve other people well? That's the idea behind the motivation.
