What Was Going on in Tennis in 1922?
The first championships at church road were held in 1922. The all England clubs moved to a larger ground for the event. Bill Tilden changed the way men's tennis was played by playing much harder than anybody else had done. He did shots that were simply incredible and used to have it in a sense of kind of performing on the stage. His daughter Suzanne became one of the best if not the best tennis player, but also the most stylish tennis. She attracted a whole range of new people into the game with her acrobatic style.
