The Board Wasn't Really Going to Get Me Anymore.
I don't want to get into this battle with Elon and board members where I'm spending all this time just fighting with them. Even if I made it on the board, none of those board members were going to support me anyways. They all have their own agenda. What I'm trying to do is make Tesla a better company. And in fact, being on the board would actually not get those things done.
