In this World Shared Practice Forum video, Dr. Jeffrey Fineman speaks about the classification and epidemiology of pediatric pulmonary disease. He details the natural history of pulmonary hypertension associated with congenital heart disease, reviews evidence proving that it is an endothelial-based disease (at least initially), and outlines current and future research involving the hemodynamic forces associated with different congenital heart disease.
