The Illusion of Sentience in a Machine

The idea of creating something which is not sentient, if it's actually not conscious and not a person embodying with it, that seems icky. The ability to form these emotional connections among humans is, you know, maybe even the meaning of life. And we will interact with it with a way where we will always, yeah, at the moments that we are most emotional, want it to actually have the ability to fake it because not faking it is absolutely annoying to us at the time.
