The Limits of Risks From Advanced AI Systems
The field of AI governance is focused on risks from advanced systems. There are very few people working in the field, and there's a large gap between what was actually happening in the world to make these decisions. I think it's also a general thing of work for various reasons being relatively academic and just academic work being often like less targeted or less useful than real-world research.
