Introduction

When Jason Romero was 13, a school nurse noticed he couldn't read to the end of a seeing eye chart. A doctor told him that he had a rare eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. The scope of his eyesight would shrink and dim around the edges until one day it would disappear.
