How to Deal With Emotions When Moving to New York
I imagine it must feel strange being someone who's lived in New York for 10 years and still doesn't consider herself a New Yorker. I talk about that a lot on TikTok, sort of the idea of because, for example, like influencer culture,. Like New York City influencers, that's a really big thing. They come to the city and their whole identity is built off of living in this city. But oftentimes they're not contributing back to the communities in which they live. And so many people that move to New York, I don't think they see New York necessarily as a community.
