Humour and Morality Separate Spheres

In order to find a joke to be funny, you both have to understand it and take some pleasure from it. In many cases, where the intent in context is to harm, morally sensitive audience may understand it, but for the very reason that it understands it, refuse to take pleasure in it. And at that point, the joke will fail.
