I was hoping to be able to meet with her and she said that was nice. But don't take that as license to produce exactly the sort of thing that makes David so cranky about the word morphine. Creole languages, even though they tend to be morphologically simple, are still not mechanically compositional. By that, I mean you do not simply get two things smacked together and a particular ending always, always, always means one thing. That simply doesn't happen.
