The Lights Can't Be Completely Shut Out
In my reading of your work, both of you, there's an implicitly theological character here. Why is it that the lights just can't be completely shut out? I mean if evil and darkness were the sovereign principles as we say metaphysically, well the lights could just be completely blackened but yet that's not what we see. And so maybe you get glimpses of that now and then because that's all you in your current depraved moral state could stand of seeing of the face of God. That's what Simeon Bey says things to that effect I think.
