Will There Be Challenges to Government Action?

The pandamic has immense implications for democracy, rule of law and human rights. We are faced with an extremely difficult tension between the necessities of safeguarding the public interest and adopting measures which have consequences for individual lives. There will be disputes where we are drawing the line, and whether the line is drawn accurately for the purposes of existing laws.
