Analgesia First Approach for Intubated Patients

Once the patient stabilizes, or following intubation, an analgesia should be provided. I often use cadamine for induction, so that helps me get a little analgesia initially. And then i prefer boluses of fentinal, usually 25 to 50 microgram alaquats. Or i will use cadamin, 20 to forty milligrams, depending on how the hemoynamics are going. Once the patient's undergone c t imaging and it's clear there's no source of bleeding that could worsen humaninamics, i'll switch over to morphine in some cases.
