The Effects of Exercise on Symptoms

If you're a bit sick, is it okay to exercise at a low level or do you make it more likely? I mean the general advice is that if you've got symptoms are exclusively above the neck. And in that situation it's recommended that you actually stop exercise altogether until those symptoms start to start to reduce. But once these viruses get in your system we've not really touched on this but near the they can hang around.
