How to Track Your Experiments
Before making a change, I try to make some sort of assessment of where things are at. If it is measurable, then if it is something that can be boiled down to a number, I really like to measure it repeatedly and then graph. There's information on the source code repository that would allow me to go back in time and do measurements. But yeah, it's not a same approach every time. And I'm not always disciplined about any of that. So I think it's okay that you're not either.
