The Dangers of a Subsidy System for Public Service Journalism
A tax on issue net advertising that creates a kind of fund that funds public service journalism would be something that I think is worth a try. These things become political very quickly. Rupert Murdoch somehow ends up at the front of the line. We still have to conclude that as a possible solution. Look, this is all hands on deck situation we're in with public service journalism. And so I don't think we have the luxury of tossing one or another subsidy system out.
