The Third Kind of Motivation

Henry Harlow postulated a different kind of motivation here. What Daniel Pink calls the third kind or the I suppose it's really perhaps I'd like to call it the second kind as I mentioned earlier. The performance of the task provided intrinsic reward so these monkeys they liked opening the latch. They didn't need to get raisins or bananas or anything to do this. But that's only halfway through the experiment actually we've already had a very interesting perhaps somewhat accidental result without actually going to the experiment. We can also that will be discussed more in other possibly more in other books actually.
