Self-driving cars could be programmed to make decisions that save lives, says CNN's John Sutter. The technology is still years away from being widely available in the U.S., but it will have a big impact on traffic and road safety if used for self-driving cars. But there are some serious questions about whether or not this kind of decision should be made by car drivers at all.
