What It Means to Be a Cultural Worker?
Cultural worker is a term that really does imply a political responsibility and duty to making culture, media, art, modeling, whatever have you. Tony K. Bambara said cultural work is meant to make revolution irresistible. I think for me if it encapsulates the political education, the writing, the research, the modeling all the aspects of my work as something that's not done solely for my own pleasure.
