I read the little book that beats the market in 2006 when it first came out, absolutely loved the book. The idea is that it's sort of a quantitative application of Warren Buffett's investment strategy where he looks for a wonderful company at a fair price. He defines a wonderful company as something that has a very high return on invested capital. When you combine those two things together, you get the magic formula.
