How to Be a Data Scientist in a Small Organization
If someone's looking to you for that mentorship, how do you steer them the right way? I think it takes a combination of things to be a data scientist in a small organization. In particular, if folks are coming just out of school, I tend to not recommend looking at smaller companies as their first job. If your desire is that the person upstream of you is doing a lot of the data preparation, please do not go into a small company.
