The Threats to Enlightenment Thinking
Kant was committed simultaneously to the Newtonian point of view and the Judeo-Christian point of view. He tried by one move to encompass both of these ends. Was he malicious in doing it? I do not believe so, but I can't be certain. Rock: Modern conservatives have a very bad picture of what would happen if man tried to lead a truly rational life.
