Lemkin's Manifesto on Jenicide - A Memorandum of Understanding

While in nuremberg for the trials, lemkin learned that nearly his entire family had been killed by noses. At least forty nine of his relatives were killed, with only his brother and his brother's family surviving. He started planning to introduce resolution on jenicide at the united nations. The treaty was not retroactive, but a number of u n member states had ongoing issues that might be described as genicide. So the united states was not likely to support the convention if it included cultural genicide.
