The Importance of Charism in the Church
Chrism is the top-shelf sacramental oil in the church. It's infused with perfume and a bishop breathes on it to symbolize Christ himself. There are three sacraments that use chrism: baptism, confirmation and holy orders. Through this sacrament, something is bestowed here that we call character.
