The Benefits of a Roth IRA
Under current laws, there are no income tax consequences if the designated beneficiary of an account is changed to a member of the beneficiary's family. So we can go up or down the blood chain without limit. When we go outside of the chain of blood, either through marriage or adoption, etc., then we don't have the same unlimited limits. And so this is where these accounts with all of those benefits I said previously are really powerful.
