Is the Opposition Research Industry Boasting?

I'm curious, this is not my world. Is the opposition research industry booming? I think it's less and less part of campaigns. The bar has been set so low on so many different things tat i just except a behavior that we would not allow in u our six year old. Andw and now the baro, it's like, that's the bar so we shouldn't even have an expectation any more that we expect tat. This actually goes to a fundamental thing about basic values, like the idea of integrity and honesty and compassion and all that. We want leaders with basic human values. It's got a chance.
