The Origins of K-Pop
I would argue K-pop's been doing it first right. Like they know what they're doing when it comes to just chemistry and building the image. SM really drew inspiration from like American pop music stars and then like the Japanese idol trainee system. But yeah the whole like K-pop groups being masterminded by like one overarching producer that has definitely existed for like you know almost 30 years now I guess.
