The Origins of Balerophon
Hesiod says Poseidon is the biological father of Balerophon. He's also referred to as the son of Galauchus, which just links back to Zeus' little curse on that king of Corinth. Some sources will tell you that the name Balerophon actually means Slayer of Baleros.
