I was on my way to shoot a video for my song Magic Chords and Darius Van Arman, who's Jack Jaguar, played me some demos of Angel. And I just remember thinking her melodies are so moving. Like her, just, there's a timbre of a voice. There's something in, if someone can really sing like Richard and Linda Thompson, like Linda Thompson does it for me. You know, there's certain things where when they hit me, I can't always explain it, but it's so emotional.
