It's probably multifaceted. I don't think there's any one simple answer and I think they're so interconnected that it would be hard to dissociate them. If you took that as an example very certainly if you think about the athlete who is under-nourished they're probably training a lot which means they're probably sweating more. There's probably more of these chances of these mechanisms culminating in an iron deficiency right? It's kind of A, B, C, X, Y, Z sort of thing.
