How to Translate the Bible Effectively

The Bible intentionally uses the same word over and over again. It's not supposed to be written the way that we would try to creatively write something by using an interesting selection of words. God doesn't have a limited vocabulary, so when he decides to put the same word in the same sentence, you don't need to take it upon yourself to fix it. There are translations that do that and that's fine as long as the reader's aware of that.
