The Manual on Joy
Joy comes from a place that we would never guess ever. Joy goes with gentleness as surely as grief goes with attack, the manual says. And in fact there's a section in the course called the spirit of joy and it's about the Holy Spirit. It says that when we made the ego God placed in us, what it calls quote unquote a call to joy, which is the call back to him.
