Curtis: To me, if I could write something and people get it, and it connected for them, they saw what I saw. So much of it is being misunderstood, right? Or not being able to effectively come across how you are or what you were intending. It's just an awful feeling. And the thing that you loved has become a chore. You took something that was so full of life...and now it's this thing that I look at and I cringe and try to find any other thing to do that day, then then do it. "That's the living dead. That's that's living with a zombie," he says.
