The Anti-Imperial Move in Ukraine
I really share with you this idea that a lot of Ukrainian history can be explained with this anti-imperial move and this struggle with the empire. For me, the clear example is the Aniit of Kotlarevsky, which is a very interesting thing. But at the same time, we know that there are lots of Ukrainian historical figures who are actually involved in the construction of the empire. So what should be Ukrainian attitude to those people? Should we trade them as people who made the wrong choices or ones who stood on the wrong side of history?
