Rigt: We might want to distinguish between subjectively rational regret and objective rational regret. If my subjective take on what was going to happen to morrow, if i hadn't died to day, is off, then we might want to say something like, from the objective perspective, there wasn't much of a misfortune there. He says that as each year progressively goes on, it's less likely, even if you've made it to that year, that you're going to make it for another year. So the amount of rational regret gets incrementally smaller until you reach the point where no humans will live more than 15 or 20 years before they die. Rigt: Once that comes
