The Old Minotaur and the Labyrinth
Daedalus makes his son Icarus wings out of wax and string. He tells him not to fly too high or low, because the sun is so hot. The two men take off together over the Mediterranean Sea. But just as Daedalus predicted, Icarus's wings begin to melt in the hot sun. And it's only moments before Icarus plunges into the sun that he drowns.
