I think the biggest difference for me, and in that comparison, as somebody that does do a lot of drawing in my life, is that you see something, and based on what you see, you reflect that image two dimensionally. Whereas music has had a really magical context. For me, it feels like your making something out of nothing. People who tell me they're tone deaf, but they still speak. And anyone who can speak is definitely speaking musically, even if they're not ware of it.
