True Crime on TikTok

Sally Kohn: I know that you've been really vocal about some of the problems with the genre on TikTok. She says she takes issue with content that exploits and plays on our anxieties when it can also spark real world behavior like amplifying conspiracy theories or mobilizing Internet sleuths who try to solve crimes without stopping to ask if it's actually a useful precedent. Kohn: Not all true crime content is the same, especially on Tik Tok. There are some creators of true crime content that I find to make at least what I would consider more palatable and what I think is more genuinecontent.
