The Limits of Civil Society

The Chief Justice Roberts simply uttered silliness when he said a judge is simply an umpire who calls balls and strikes, clearly that's not what the court does. So we are always having to say you have heard it said of old, but we say now unto you in the name of the covenant. The issue has to do that law cannot be thinking of in thought of in civil society as a one dimensional fixed set of rules.
