How to Measure Consciousness in Infants

In the case of other humans' adults, we can rely on verbal reports. But you cannot ask infants if they're conscious or not of that stimulus. So, this raises the type of dilemma. We know that third person methods are insufficient for the tact consciousness. A behavioral marker cannot be sufficient to tell us if a creature is conscious or not. The best way to explain the neuromarker we are finding in infants is that infants are conscious. It's the inference of the best explanation.
