Not to denigrate women's or children's experiences, not to demean them in any way. They had the courage to face these experiences and to deal with them for better or for worse. And I believe we should have the courage to do so and in so doing to honor them. These are people steeped in Holocaust studies that I talk to in conferences who are interested in this.
