Melissa: It's so good to be back jam. We recorded the last few episodes all at once in late November, early December. This is kind of a good post holiday episode. I was like, wouldn't it be fun if I did an episode about why Christmas trees smell the way they do? She says she can't have them though because her husband won't let me have a real tree. The molecule called pineine comes from six-membered carbon ring and has a bridge of atoms across the top.
