You're an Artist, I'm a Writer, I Think.
I read that you saw it like a new path, you know, talking about drama. There ware particular aesthetic choices that you made in your novel. For example, you don't extensively get into the details of the abuse. Can you talk about those choices and why you made them? It's hard to describe the writing process in a way that feels rue. I i do think that not describing abuse extensively was a conscious choice. And so having those in the story wouldn't make sense within my artistic vision.
