The temptation, of course, when a trial comes is to focus on what we've lost. But faith in christ compels us to focus onwhat we might gain by means of the trial. The lord uses trials for our benefit and he will do so through them too. We know that these circumstances that are genuinely an poraly bad, he uses them for our good. And i think we need to be able to say, in the face of loss of those things, of money, of health, of family members, even, or even justjust the contentment that we've been experiencing with job.
