The Consequences of Human Nature
The topic of human nature versus how that nature is expressed is a very deep one. One of the things I love about CRISPR, even though I actually don't think we're nearly as close to being able to utilize CRISPR safely as we think we are; it's a great thought experiment. When you have that level of exponential tech where you can change the connectome, change the genomes, the level of existentialism and ethics becomes forefront.
